Varicocele excision(Varicocelectomy)

Varicocelectomy is a surgical procedure to remove or seal dilated veins in the testicles that are causing blood flow problems and, in some cases, infertility. It is performed microscopically or laparoscopically, with the aim of improving sperm quality and reducing testicular pain.

Postoperative Care:

Applying a cold compress, wearing supportive underwear, and avoiding strenuous activity for at least two weeks are recommended. Pain and mild swelling may occur temporarily.

Outcome:

Pain relief is often achieved within a few days, and sperm quality typically improves within 3–6 months. Recurrence is rare with modern microsurgical techniques.

Service package:

Basic ward services, surgeon, anesthesia, operating room, ward and operating room medications, ward and operating room consumables, laboratory, radiography
