Cystourethroscopy(Cystoureteroscopy)
Cystourethroscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for examining the inside of the bladder and ureters using a thin endoscope. This procedure is used to diagnose stones, tumors, or ureteral obstructions, as well as to perform therapeutic interventions such as stone removal or biopsy. High accuracy and minimal invasion are the characteristics of this procedure.
Postoperative Care:
Adequate hydration and rest are recommended. Patients may notice mild hematuria or burning sensation, which usually resolves within a few days. Medications prescribed by the urologist should be taken as directed.
Outcome:
Most patients are discharged the same day. The procedure offers high diagnostic accuracy and effective treatment with minimal tissue trauma.
